The house is always full of guests ... A classic beer garden in the English style. The cozy interior and pleasant home atmosphere. A history of the appearance of the restaurant started so ... From 1717 to 1725 by John and Anne Bass in Hinckley, England, were born three sons: John, William and Thomas. As the father of the family, John worked as a plumber, his salary was not enough to feed the family. And John, in his spare time, began to produce, for sale, home-brewed beer, in small quantities. Soon beer John became very popular. To him, people began to arrive from Manchester to London, and he gradually began to prosper.

By 1756 the company «Басс» made its first deliveries of beer in St. Petersburg. By this time the young William was married to Mary Gibson and was the owner of a thriving company. Later, she and Mary built a spacious home for his family, next to their new brewery in Burton, Steffordsher. This house was always full of guests, laughing children and there was an atmosphere of friendliness and happiness. Mary did not let anybody out of their homes until they try her crown dishes: Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, and followed William to the circle of each guest was brim full of beer.
